Entertaining Classes

Calling all hostesses! We have set our Entertaining Classes schedule for the upcoming Spring and Summer 2010! The classes are a chic way to spend a night with girlfriends while learning tips and tricks on becoming the hostess of the year. Southern Protocol has teamed up with Stems (Charleston’s newest premier florist boutique) and Canape Catering to bring you a variety of classes perfect for women (and men!) of all ages. It’s amazing what three women-owned companies can do when they come together
See the calender below, and be sure to RSVP to contact@southernprotocol.com as soon as you can – classes are limited to 12-15 seats, and they will go fast! All classes (except the Wedding Seminar) will be held from 6:00 – 7:30 pm at Stems, 208 Coming Street.
Spring Entertaining
March 24, April 21
You’ve had your entertaining break from the holidays, now let’s start on spring festivities! March 24 will focus on early spring events (ie Easter); April 21 will focus on late spring (ie Mother’s Day, Graduations, etc).
$30 per seat.
Wedding Seminar
March 20, **Time TBA
Just in time for Charleston Fashion Week’s Bridal Couture shows, our Wedding Seminar is the perfect time to ask all your wedding-related questions. We’ll talk about wedding etiquette, budgets, current trendy food, and cost-effective flowers. $45 per seat.
Girls Night In
May 26
Our Girls Night In class – conveniently scheduled to coincide with the Sex and the City 2 premiere – will give you all the tips and tricks you need to turn your cozy home into the city’s most exclusive hot spot. $30 per seat.
Southern Entertaining
June 8
Perfect for Charleston natives and out-of-towners alike, this class focuses on how to throw a Southern soiree that’s chic and laidback – the general atmosphere of our region! Perfect for all your SPOLETO visitors. $45 per seat.
Summer Entertaining
June 16, July 13
Time to celebrate the warm weather! Summertime is easily the most fun time of year for entertaining, and we’re here to show you how. Join us on June 16 for fresh takes on 4th of July and entertaining with kids, then again on July 13 for BBQs and end-0f-summer fetes. $30 per seat.
