Wedding Etiquette Workshop

We get loads of questions from our beautiful brides about all things wedding etiquette-related. If you’re having a destination wedding, do you invite everyone to the rehearsal dinner? How far in advance should you send out invitations? How can I include everyone I love? What is the proper wording for invitations? And who is REALLY supposed to pay for everything?

The list of questions is literally endless, and modern times have made traditional customs a bit murky. Instead of navigating through huge, stuffy etiquette books, why not come to a fun and laid-back seminar at Charleston Museum? Thursday, February 25th from 6:30 – 7:30 pm Southern Protocol will hold a Wedding Etiquette Workshop at Charleston Museum.

So to all you brides with millions of questions – grab your mom and best friend and join us for lots of wedding information, drinks and a small appetizer (courtesy of the lovely Cynthia Groseclose of The Canape). We’ll cover wedding etiquette, general timelines, a budget guide… all your questions answered!

The workshop is in conjunction with the museum’s Aisle of Style exhibit; all class participants will get to browse through the praised exhibit with purchase of the workshop ticket. Seats are $10 for members, $15 for non-members. Click here to get more information or to sign up!

Coupon Workshop

Newsflash: Coupon-ing (I may or may not have made up that word) is chic. I’m too much of a foodie to forego food in favor of shoes, a la Carrie Bradshaw, but I wouldn’t hate it if my grocery bill were a bit lower each month. Ditto for Lizz, who has two little boys that polished off three boxes of cereal in no less than four days!

So when we found out about a coupon workshop next month at the JCC…let’s just say we immediately saved the date on the calendar. February 9th from 7-8:30 join coupon-diva-extraordinaire Maribeth Kellenbenz for in-depth help on how to simultaneously fill your pantry and wallet. And Maribeth knows what she’s talking about – girlfriend buys bags and bags of groceries and somehow the store ends up owing HER money. Teach me, Yoda!

The workshop, again, will take place on February 9th from 7-8:30 pm at the JCC in West Ashley. The cost for the class is $10, which not only includes savvy coupon-ing tips, but a Sunday newspaper, coupon divider (to really get your coupo organization started!), and refreshments. To RSVP or ask for more information, send an email maribeth@rosenltc.com.

Happy money saving!
